# Business registration

> How the owner registers their salon on Narciso: invite code, the three steps of the guided set-up and the final screen.

The **business registration** is the procedure by which the owner brings their salon onto Narciso. It is done only once and requires an **invite code**. At the end the salon is active and each person on the staff has their own credentials.

## Before you start

You need:

- the **invite code**;
- the business's **VAT number**;
- the **logo** (or an idea for having one generated with artificial intelligence);
- the **address of each location** and the contact email;
- for each person on the staff: first name, surname, tax code, email and **phone**. The phone is compulsory because it is the number the login SMS code is sent to (see [Phone verification by SMS](https://narciso.io/en/docs/verifica-del-telefono/)).

You need a computer or tablet with a large screen, in landscape (see [Device requirements](https://narciso.io/en/docs/requisiti-del-dispositivo/)).

> **Warning.** The set-up is **not saved as a draft in the browser**. If you close the tab or reload the page, what you had typed is lost. Only the data of steps 1 and 2 already confirmed with **AVANTI** (Next) stays in the system and can be recovered (see [After registration](https://narciso.io/en/docs/dopo-la-registrazione/)).

## The invite code

The invite code is supplied by Narciso's sales team and lets you register **one salon only**. There is no registration without a code. To get one, contact your sales representative or, from the login page, use the **Serve aiuto?** (Need help?) link (see [Support](https://narciso.io/en/docs/assistenza/)).

The code must be typed exactly as it was given to you: it is best to copy and paste it. The letters become capitals by themselves.

## How to start

1. On the login page choose **Registra la tua attività** (or, from the login screen, the **Registrala** (Register it) link).
2. Pass the anti-robot check: until it is passed the form stays blurred.
3. Type the invite code and press **Continua** (Continue) (during the check the button shows «Verifica in corso...» (Check in progress...)).
4. The guided set-up opens, which does not have the management program's menu.

Anyone who is not the owner does not need this procedure: they use **Accedi alla tua attività** (Log in to your business) (see [Login page](https://narciso.io/en/docs/pagina-di-accesso/)).

### Invite code messages

| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| «Inserisci il codice invito per continuare.» (Enter the invite code to continue.) | The field is empty |
| «Verifica di sicurezza non completata.» (Security check not completed.) | The anti-robot check was not passed |
| «Codice invito non valido o inesistente.» (Invite code not valid or non-existent.) | The code does not exist: check the letters |
| «Questo codice invito è già stato utilizzato. Accedi con il tuo account.» (This invite code has already been used. Log in with your account.) | The salon is already registered: use **Accedi alla tua attività** |
| «Il codice non è più valido o è bloccato.» (The code is no longer valid or is blocked.) | The code can no longer be used: contact whoever supplied it |
| «Codice non valido o errore server» (Code not valid or server error) | Generic or server error: try again, then use **Serve aiuto?** |

> **Warning.** It is not advisable to try random codes: after several attempts with non-existent codes the device is blocked and support is needed to unblock it.

The set-up does not open without a valid code: opening the set-up address directly takes you back to the login page.

## The three steps

The set-up is divided into three steps, shown at the top as «Passo N di 3» (Step N of 3) with a progress bar.

In the top bar:

- **INDIETRO** (Back) (from step 2) goes back to the previous step without saving and without losing what was typed;
- **AVANTI** (steps 1 and 2) checks the data, saves it and moves on to the next step;
- **COMPLETA** (Complete) (step 3) creates the salon.
