# Social media statistics

> Where to see the social media figures in Narciso (post card, flame, account card, Google listing), which social networks they apply to, how often they update and what you can change from the account card.

In the program there is **no social media statistics page**: the figures are spread over four places.

## How often they update

The post figures are reloaded at every synchronisation of the page ([Editorial plan](https://narciso.io/en/docs/piano-editoriale/)). For Instagram and Facebook the page statistics are collected **once a day**: comparison with a past date shows the **nearest available** figure, with a notice of how many days apart it is.

## The account card

A click on a post's heading opens the social network's **Metriche profilo** (Profile metrics) window (with the account's name and photo at the top).

- If the account is no longer connected: «Nessun account [social] collegato al momento.» (No [social] account connected at the moment.) For read errors the notifications «Nessun account collegato per questa piattaforma.» (No account connected for this platform.) or «Errore nel caricamento dei dati account.» (Error while loading the account data.) appear.
- **Four figures:** Follower (Followers), Reach, Visualizzazioni (Views), Engagement rate (with the label «Media account» (Account average) or, in the «then» view, «Solo per oggi» (Only for today)).
- When opened **from a post**, a two-option selector lets you compare **the post's date** (for example 05 Oct) with **Oggi** (Today). In the «Oggi» view, under each figure the difference compared with then appears (for example «+120 vs allora» (+120 vs then)). If there is no figure for the exact date: «Dato più vicino disponibile: N giorno/giorni di distanza dalla data del post.» (Nearest available figure: N day(s) away from the post's date.); if the number of followers is missing: «—» and «Non disponibile per questa data» (Not available for this date).

**What you can change** (**Facebook** only, **Titolare** only): the page name (up to 75 characters), the **profile photo** (click on the circle: «Cambia foto profilo» (Change profile photo)) and the **cover** (click on the strip: «Cambia copertina» (Change cover)). The **Salva** (Save) button is active only if something has been changed. Results: «Dati aggiornati su Facebook.» (Data updated on Facebook.) or «Errore durante il salvataggio su Facebook.» (Error while saving on Facebook.) (or Facebook's refusal: «Facebook ha rifiutato la modifica del nome: …» (Facebook refused the change of name: …), «… della foto: …» (… of the photo: …), «… della copertina: …» (… of the cover: …)).

For **Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest** name and photo **cannot be changed from here**: next to the name an amber triangle appears with the text «[Social] non permette di modificare nome e foto da qui: usa "Modifica su [Social]" per aggiornarli direttamente sulla piattaforma, poi torneranno allineati qui alla prossima sincronizzazione.» ([Social] does not allow changing name and photo from here: use "Modifica su [Social]" to update them directly on the platform, then they will be aligned here again at the next synchronisation.) and the **Modifica su [Social]** (Edit on [Social]) button opens the settings on the social network's website. The window closes with the X or with a click outside.

## Ad Manager

The **Ad Manager** tab does nothing yet: it shows «Ci stiamo lavorando...» (We are working on it...) and the expected date, 10.05.2027 – 10.07.2027 ([Social media](https://narciso.io/en/docs/social-media/)).
