# TikTok (linking)

> How to link a TikTok account to publish videos from Narciso: TikTok is not a chat channel and is linked only from the Social Media page.

**TikTok is not a chat channel.** It is used only for **publishing** videos ([TikTok](https://narciso.io/en/docs/tiktok/)). For this reason it does not appear in the Comunicazioni grid or in the Collegamenti menu of the chat column: it is linked only from the **Social Media** page, with its Collegamenti button (the window has four cards: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).

## How to link it

The procedure is the one common to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Aziendale ([Linking with login on the provider's site](https://narciso.io/en/docs/percorso-guidato/)):

1. Press the **TikTok** card. «Collega TikTok» (Link TikTok) and «Continua sulla pagina ufficiale di TikTok» (Continue on TikTok's official page) appear.
2. In TikTok's window, log in and authorise: Narciso asks for the basic profile information and the permission to publish videos.
3. On the **«Conferma l'account TikTok»** (Confirm the TikTok account) screen a single row appears with your @name. Press **Continua** (Continue).
4. «**Account TikTok collegato con successo**» (TikTok account linked successfully) appears.

If no account is found: «Nessun account TikTok trovato.» (No TikTok account found.)

## Rules

- If the TikTok account is already linked to **another salon** on Narciso: «Questo account è già collegato a un altro account Narciso. Scollegalo da lì prima di collegarlo qui.» (This account is already linked to another Narciso account. Unlink it from there before linking it here.) If it is already linked to another location of **your** salon, the location is added ([Multiple locations and shared channels](https://narciso.io/en/docs/canali-e-sedi/)).
- Narciso saves the access and renewal keys **encrypted**, together with the name, the image and the identifier of the account.
- The TikTok link **renews itself**. If the renewal fails, the channel switches off: the card turns grey again and a «Ricollega TikTok» (Link TikTok again) task is created in Segreteria ([Secretariat](https://narciso.io/en/docs/segreteria/)); you link it again with the procedure above ([When a link breaks on its own](https://narciso.io/en/docs/collegamento-interrotto/)).

## Unlinking

**Scollega** (Unlink) has the same confirmation screen as the other channels. The text talks about messages, but for TikTok it concerns the account and the synchronised **posts** ([Unlinking a channel](https://narciso.io/en/docs/scollegare-un-canale/)).
