Translated from the Italian guide. Narciso itself is in Italian, so the names of buttons, menus and fields are shown exactly as they appear on screen, with a translation in brackets where it helps.
The Designer (entry with the palette icon, in the Strumenti di lavoro (Work tools) group of the Side menu) is Narciso's graphic editor: a real graphics program inside the page, used to design single posts, carousels and stories for social media and business cards, flyers and posters to print. The editor itself is called AuraStudio: Designer is the menu entry used to open it.

Who can use it#
The entry is visible to all roles (Titolare (owner), Responsabile (manager), Operatore (operator)): there is no distinction. Whoever opens the Designer can save, delete their own drafts, export, order paid prints and use the AI credits.
Everything you create belongs to the active location (Locations map and active location): drafts, finished posts, uploaded files, personal templates and print orders are seen only in the location where they were created. A job started in location A does not appear in Riprendi lavoro (Resume work) or in the library of location B.
The editor is designed for a computer screen (or a tablet in landscape): below 768 pixels of width the side panels do not appear.
How to open it#
As soon as you enter, the program asks the editor by itself for a work permit. Until it is ready (twenty seconds at most) a light grey box appears over the whole page with a moving band; then the editor takes up the whole page. The browser tab's title is Designer.

An address that already contains a job (for example after pressing F5 while working) reopens the same job.
The side menu hides#
When the editor is ready, that is after you have chosen a format or resumed a draft, the management program's side menu closes by itself to leave room for the canvas. At the top left a dark tab with a yellow arrow appears:

While the format-choice window is open the side menu stays visible. That window has no X and does not close with Esc: either you choose a format (or a job to resume), or you leave the page from the menu.
If the session expires#
If access to the management program expires while you are working, the editor shows the red notification Sessione scaduta. A breve sarai disconnesso. (Session expired. You will be logged out shortly.) and, after about 5 seconds, takes the whole page to the login screen. Work that has already been saved is not lost; that of the last few seconds depends on automatic saving (Designer projects). To leave the program voluntarily see Session and logging out: Esci (Log out) does not ask for confirmation even with the Designer open.
Access to the editor, moreover, lasts 24 hours: if you leave it open longer, the «Creator's» templates and the icons stop responding. Just reload the page.
