About this guide

Last updated:

Translated from the Italian guide. Narciso itself is in Italian, so the names of buttons, menus and fields are shown exactly as they appear on screen, with a translation in brackets where it helps.

This is the guide to Narciso, the web management software for salons and beauty centres. It explains, entry by entry, what you can do in the program and how, in the words of the people who use it in the salon.

Contents
  1. How it is built
  2. How up to date it is
  3. Reporting a mistake

How it is built#

  • One entry per topic: each entry answers a question («how do I record a payment?») and points to nearby entries with links in the text.
  • Chapters: the entries are grouped by chapter (first steps, appointments and cash desk, communications, marketing and social, Designer and so on). Start from What Narciso is.
  • At the top of each entry: who can use the function (Titolare, Responsabile, Operatore) and where to find it in the menu.
  • At the bottom of each entry: the date of the last check against the program and the related entries.
  • Difficult words: they are in the Glossary.
  • Searching: the guide's search works in your browser on the list of entries; it sends nothing to the server.

How up to date it is#

Each entry is written by reading how the program really works, not what was intended. The date of the last check says when it was last verified. If the program changes after that date, the entry may no longer match: recent news is in What's new.

The guide also describes functions that are already in the program but not yet available to everyone, and it says so in the text.

Reporting a mistake#

If an entry does not match what you see, write to [email protected] giving the title of the entry and what does not add up. For a problem in the program, or a question about how to do something, see Support.

Category: Reference. Last checked against the program: 23 October 2026. This entry is also available in Markdown format.
